So, apologies to non-EUROLAS colleagues who are receiving this message. The next ILRS Governing Board will take office at the time of the 18th International Laser Ranging Workshop in November 2013. There are sixteen members of the Board. Four are appointed: Director of the Central Bureau (Mike Pearlman) Secretary of the Central Bureau (Carey Noll) President of IAG Commission 1 (Tonie van Dam) IERS Representative              (To be confirmed) Twelve members of the Board are elected: EUROLAS Network Representatives - 2 NASA Network Representatives - 2 WPLTN Representatives - 2 Data Center Representative - 1 Analysis Representives - 2 LLR Representative - 1 At-Large Representatives - 2 The current network representatives for EUROLAS are Francis Pierron (now retired) and myself. ILRS has asked us to conduct the election for our 2 network representatives from the list of ILRS associates, and submit our two choices to the Central Bureau secretary. Past representatives may serve again. An individual may hold only one position on the Governing Board at a time. A list of ILRS Associates can be found on the ILRS website at: http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/about/membership/associates.html EUROLAS terms of reference: http://edc.dgfi.badw.de/index.php?idU I propose now to elect two EUROLAS representatives who will serve in the next term within the ILRS Governing Board. The same two people should then eventually take actions to start a reorganization of the EUROLAS consortium which has been standing idle for the last few years.
