Subject: | [SLR-Mail] No.2223: SLR orbit predictions for GPS-36 | |

Content: | Author: Krzysztof Sosnica/AIUB/CODE Dear colleagues, Due to the deactivation of the last GPS satellite equipped with the laser retroreflector array, namely GPS-36 (PRN: 6, COSPAR: 9401601), the Center of Orbit Determination in Europe (CODE) is not providing the SLR orbit predictions for this satellite anymore. However, we will start providing orbit predictions as soon as the satellite is possibly reactivated and the microwave orbit solution is feasible. Following the resolution of the 18th International Laser Workshop in Fujiyoshida, Japan, we provide SLR orbit predictions for all GLONASS satellites and daily Quick-Look Residual Analysis Reports including as well all GLONASS satellites. Sincerely, Krzysztof Sosnica Astronomical Institute, University of Bern, CODE ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Krzysztof Sośnica Astronomical Institute, University of Bern sosnica@aiub.unibe.ch Sidlerstrasse 5, CH-3012 Bern, Switzerland http://www.aiub.unibe.ch/ Tel: +41 31 6318599 Fax: +41 31 6313869 http://www.bernese.unibe.ch/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
