Dear ILRS colleagues,

SFEL Laser Ranging station (7824) is operating again since yesterday, May 20.

After the CSPAD test made by Franz Koidl at Graz, we are sure it is working properly. We sincerely appreciate his work.

However in the meantime we have found the 2 Armstrong spectral filter was severely damaged. We have replaced it by a wider one (5 Armstrong) until we get a new filter. In spite of very bad weather conditions we were able to track two satellites last night.

A new log file has been delivered to the ILRS CB.

We apologize again for the inconveniences.

Best regards,
