Author:Carey Noll
Content:Author: Carey Noll

Dear Colleagues (with apologies for cross posting),

This is a reminder that deadlines are fast approaching for the 19th
International Workshop on Laser Ranging, which will be held October 27-31,
2014 in Annapolis Maryland:

Registration Deadline: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2014
Abstract Deadline: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2014
Hotel Reservation Deadline: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2014

Thank you to all those who have registered and submitted abstracts thus
far. Early registration is required for the Wednesday visit to NASA
Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). GSFC is a U.S. Government facility
with restrictions on visitor entry; therefore access to the center must
be pre-approved. Please note, however, that visitor access to NASA Goddard
is not guaranteed by your registration. NASA security has the final authority
for all badge approvals and refusals.

I encourage you to explore the workshop website:

http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/ilrw19/

where you will find a draft workshop program, links to (and instruction for)
the registration and abstract portals, and information about the venue and
hotel booking.

I would also like to call your attention to the partner program we
have developed for those accompanying you to Annapolis:

http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/ilrw19/Program/Partner_Program.html

Fees for select tours are due during meeting registration (Sunday October 26
and Monday October 27) and must be paid in cash. Acceptance to the tours is
limited to a certain number and is done on a first-come-first-served basis.

We look forward seeing you in October for a wonderful week in Maryland.

Regards,
Carey.
