We invite abstract submissions (oral or poster) to the ”Automation of Laser Ranging Systems” session of the 20th International Workshop on Laser Ranging, hosted by GFZ Potsdam during the week of October 9 – 14, 2016. The theme of this session is ”Advancing Automation while Improving Data Quality and Quantity”. Oral and poster contributions should be focused on recent work in advancing current or future SLR station´s automation with a corresponding discussion of how the automation has contributed to or can coexist with improving the station´s data quality and/or quantity.
