CONTACTING THE UK SLR FACILITY

SLRMAIL 170 announced the future plans for the UK SLR group based at
Herstmonceux and Cambridge following the closure of the Royal
Greenwich Observatory in Cambridge on 1998 October 31. Most of the
organisational changes detailed in that message have now taken effect.
We are now formally known as the NERC Satellite Laser Ranger Facility.

This message gives the new locations for the web and FTP services that
were previously provided by the RGO computers in Cambridge and contact
details for personnel. All users of these services are urged to access
the new addresses from today: the old site will be run in parallel for
a short time and then discontinued.
