Subject:[SLR-Mail] No.2660: Herstmonceux kHz laser failure
Author:Rob Sherwood
Content:Author: Rob Sherwood

Dear Colleagues,

We´ve suffered a failure of the kHz laser controller this week. The unit will need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair, we don´t have an estimate yet for exactly how long this will take. However since we have maintained the legacy 10 Hz laser and have always been able to switch between the two we will return to 10Hz operation until we are able to get the kHz laser running again. Hopefully this will be a short time only.

Best regards,

Rob
