Content: | Dear Member of ILRS, I would like to announce you that today, March 24, 2022, a new group has been established: Union of Concerned Members (UCM) an unofficial union of the ILRS members that will be discussing on the issues related to: - the wartime crisis, - transparency of ILRS decision-making processes, - Intellectual Property Rights within ILRS. What do we want? - We want to protect freedom of information and unobstructed flow of information within ILRS. - We want to make sure that the volunteers who govern ILRS provide their service with full respect to the ethical standards. What do we do? - We will be identifying issues of concern and discussing forms of action whenever needed. - We will establish connections with the media outlets to ensure that our voice is heard. What are the rules? - To join UCM you should be an ILRS member, but you join as a private person and accept an unfiltered environment. - General forum rules apply, your voice expresses your own, personal opinion. Join UCM by replying to this email, or email me at ucm.ilrs@gmail.com We are setting up a UCM Facebook group page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ucm.ilrs/ You are invited to join! Respectfully, Daniel Kucharski Member of ILRS since 2005, co-chair of the ILRS Space Debris Study Group.
