UPDATED COURSES ANNOUNCEMENT! Beginning April 3, 2023 : MOOC Sensing Planet Earth - From Core to Outer Space Beginning May 8, 2023 : MOOC Sensing Planet Earth - Water and Ice ChalmersX online courses on edX platform - Learn about instruments and techniques used to observe, monitor and understand our planet Earth - Embark on a journey on the spheres of Earth Science - In space, on aircrafts and on the ground - Discover experts visions on the importance of monitoring the Earth and its climate - And more! Dr. Zuheir Altamimi, the current IAG president, gave us a detailed interview on the ITRF2020 and its place as a geodetic reference frame recognised by the United Nations. Dr. Claire Parkinson, climatologist at NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center, discussed sea ice monitoring with us and the change in trend in the average concentration of Antarctic sea ice. This version of the MOOCs contains new and updated content to reflect the advancements in the past years.
