The CDDIS has been working to provide clarity to new users of the archive and to reduce redundant data. With this effort, the CDDIS plans to take the following steps over the next few weeks: 1. Remove satellite daily and allsat hourly files older than 6 months. The data will still be available in satellite monthly and allsat daily files. 2. Move format transition data files to the quarantine directory. Specifically, CRD V1 data prior to May 1, 2012 and after August 1, 2022 will be moved to quarantine. 3.
