We had planned to hold the 2023 Specialized ILRS Workshop in October, in Arequipa, Peru. Due to the current political unrest in Peru, we have been advised that the meeting planned for this year should be postponed, at least until 2025. We have sought alternative locations for this meeting to no avail. In view of the situation, the ILRS has decided to hold a Virtual Meeting in its place. We are all disappointed to have to make this change, and we hope that the community can remain connected through this Virtual Workshop. We are in the process of forming the Program Committee and will let the community know more details as plans evolve. We still plan to convene in person in 2024 in Kunming, China.
