Subject: | [SLR-Mail] No.2852: Eurolas status server IP/hostname and port number - What is the impact of a change? | |
Author: | unknown | |
Content: | Dear colleagues, as far as I know, the Eurolas status was introduced by Werner Gurtner about 30 years ago. At that time, the international internet was small and security requirements less compared to today. Our university had to move the Eurolas server behind a firewall. On top of the latter, a change of the Eurolas server IP/hostname and port is highly recommended for our IT as well. The Eurolas status is used on an international basis. If we would change the IP/hostname and port of the Eurolas server: Would you be able to change it in your systems without big efforts? Please let us know. Thank you very much in advance. Instead of replying to the mailing list, please reply-to my email below.
