The launch time is being planed to March, 4 1997 02:00 UTC. The nominal height of mission is about 500km. For convenience MCC decided do not use drag function as it is done for GFZ-1. Only TBF will be provided with IRVS accounting for time bias and daily drag. Thus please use Zeia IRVS with TBF only to get high accuracy of prediction. At the initial stage we would ask you to send your data with COSPAR ID number 9788801 until further announcement. NASA ID number used in IRVS is temporarily set to 8888. The Russian MCC will support the mission with IRVS and TBF. All stations are requested to track the satellite as much as possible until the first laser orbit will be determined.
