COLLOQUIUM ON SLR-SYSTEM CALIBRATION ISSUES 23-24 September 1999 University of Florence, Italy Following the call for participation in the SLR Colloquium, I´d like to draw your attention to the session on ´Satellite Signature and Data Treatment´ As you may know, an ad-hoc ILRS Tiger Team (http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/working.html) is looking into some of these issues, and among the contributions so far expected during the session will be a number from team members based partly on the informal progress report which you can see at URL http://mtfiles.nerc-monkswood.ac.uk/nercslr/sig/signature.html You will see that topics so far discussed are satellite signature models, data distribution, signal strength effects and centre-of-mass corrections. May I therefore ask for further contributions from observing and analysis groups that address the broad aims of the Team. Looking forward to an interesting meeting, Graham Appleby Graham Appleby NERC SLR Facility Monks Wood Abbots Ripton Huntingdon Cambridgeshire PE17 2LS [Mailed From: graham appleby ******************************************************************************** |
