An attendance of more than 400 people is foreseen, that will completely fill up the hotels in town. As you see, we have a superimposition of at least 2 days which is jeopardizing our workshop. We are facing two possible solutions on which I´d like to hear you opinions: 1) keep our original dates (October 16th to 20th) and look for a place outside Matera. This could be one of the several hotels on the Ionian coastline, but the problem would be that those hotels are isolated, and since the weather in that period doesn´t usually allow to go to the beach, the situation could be boring both for accompanying persons and for ourselves as well, as far as ”post-workshop” activities are concerned 2) pospone the workshop, even by 2 or 3 weeks. Any week until the end of the year is ok except the week of November 20th. We´ve been in contact with the National Association of Lawyers in order to have them possibly changing their dates, but it proved impossible since they took their final decision last saturday. Please let me have you opinions soon, so we can undertake corrective actions in due time. Best regards Giuseppe Bianco -- ******************************************************************************** |
