According to the nominal separation scenario the three objects CHAMP, the piggy-back MITA and the COSMOS rocket intersept each other in the following order: MITA flies in front, closely followed by the COSMOS rocket. CHAMP comes next. The distance between COSMOS and CHAMP in the along-track direction increases by 350 km per day. The distance between MITA and COSMOS in along-track increases by 60 km per day.
