(Please see also the web page http://codazzi9.igac.gov.co or the mirror version at http://www.dgfi.badw.de/veres/veres.html). The symposium will basically focus on the unification of height systems and deal with the strengths and weaknesses of the individual geodetic techniques for this purpose. As we always claim that the precision in height determination is a particular strength of SLR, it would be a good idea to present your corresponding results during this symposium. An actual motivation for that might be the installation of the TIGO system (including SLR) of BKG in Concepción, Chile, at the time of the symposium (beginning next year). As the president of the scientific committee, I´d like to invite you to send me your contributions to the symposium. The deadline for submitting abstracts is October 31, 2000, i.e., within five days. However, there will be no problem of acceptance, if you send your abstract some days later or directly to me. I hope, the participation of the SLR community in the symposium will be visible and I´m looking forward to receive your contributions. With my best regards Hermann Drewes --------------3C7C0780CB68142577A3C8E0-- From: Hermann Drewes ******************************************************************************** |
