Subject: Data Delivery Reporting

Dear colleagues,

In response to previous requests for feedback on SLR normal point data delivery
to the CDDIS, EDC, and/or HTSI, the ILRS CB has implemented a report that shows
the delivery of data from the HTSI computer facility to the CDDIS. This report
reflects data that was received at the HTSI computer from either direct delivery
or data delivered from EDC. This report should be used as a tool to ensure that
all data available is reaching the final destination. Therefore, it is the
responsibility of the stations to routinely compare this report to station
statistics. This report is available and can be found at the following location
on the web:
ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/slr/slrql/allsat/2000/sum. the files will
contain the .htsi suffix. i.e.. all_qlsum001107.htsi.

An example of the file structure is as follows:

Pad Location Sat Date (UTC) NP Comp Unrel

---- ------------- ------- ----------------- -- ---- -----

1884 Riga 7501001 06-NOV-2000 21:38 13 EDC

1884 Riga 7501001 06-NOV-2000 22:11 17 EDC

where:
PAD - a 4-digit monument identification

Location - Pad location

Sat - ILRS Satellite identifier

Date - Date and time of first normal point record (UTC)

Comp - Location of station data deposit before merge

EDC - European Data Center

HTSI - Honeywell Technology Solution Inc.

Unrel - ”***” indicates the data failed quality control and was not released.

Each line represents a single pass.

If you do not see data of your stations data on either data center, several
things may have happened: delivery from your station to a data center did not
successfully transfer; data from one data center to the other did not
transfer; or your data was edited for some format or integrity reason. if the
last is the case, you will still find the data in the above report, however,
it will be flagged in the last column as unreleased. If you still cannot find
your data either on this report or in a data center, please contact the ILRS
CB.

As a note, the NASA stations are not listed in this report due to procedural
constraints on the network.

Regards,

Scott Wetzel, ILRS CB
