Subject: CHAMP orbit preditions COSPAR number adoption

Dear colleagues,

following the request by SLRMail No. 0699 the prediction center
at GFZ will replace the preliminary number 0009901 for CHAMP with t
he official number 0003902 as of December 5, 2000, 00:00 hrs UTC.
From the list of currently generated standard products (IRVs, DRAG,
SAO and TLE) only SAO and TLE will be affected by this change.
The satellite id 8002 in the IRVs and DRAG files has already been
fixed, so no changes are needed here. Examples of modifed SAO and
TLE are given below.
