Subject: ILRS Mail Services

Dear Colleagues:

The ILRS Mail Services, including guidelines for use, key features,
and URLs, have been documented at:

http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/mail_services.html

For more information on these services (e.g., subscription, syntax
rules, etc.) refer to the corresponding URL´s. We ask your
cooperation in using the Mail Services in order to reduce the traffic
on SLRMail and to expedite messages to specific ILRS entities.

At the moment, the new Prediction Exploder (ILRSPred) is in the
process of implementation. Some of you may already be receiving
prediction information over this exploder. We anticipate that it will
be fully operational within a few weeks.

The Mail Services include:

numbered and archived for easy reference; ASCII text; no
attachments; managed by EDC; delayed distribution
(up to 1 hour)

SLRMail URL: http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/slrmail.html

SLReport

interested parties; usually computer generated; suitable
for automated processing (extraction of station dependent
information); ASCII text; no attachments; managed by EDC;
delayed distribution (up to 1 hour)

SLReport URL: http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/slreport.html

URGENT
used to communicate an urgent request to station operators
(e.g., upcoming satellite maneuver, urgent modification of
satellite priorities); not numbered nor archived; ASCII
short text; no attachments; managed by CDDIS; immediate
distribution

URGENT URL: http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/urgent.html

ILRSPred (PRELIMINARY)

stations (e.g., satellite predictions, time bias functions,
drag functions, maneuver messages including post-maneuver
predictions); not numbered nor archived; ASCII text; no

immediate distribution

ILRSPred URL (Under Construction):
http://ilrs.gsfc.nasa.gov/ilrspred.html
