The UK internet domain ”.ac.uk” is reported to have suffered a severe cut in a vital cable route in London during the afternoon of Friday January 25. We have been unable to connect to the internet for email or FTP since then. Unfortunately there does not appear to be an alternative - and the timescale for repair is unknown - so I am sending this from home to explain our disappearance. Apologies for the break in service with IRVs and TBFs - we will be back as soon as we can!
