PREDICTION EXPLODER: Consequential changes to NERC products

In line with the changes proposed in Scott Wetzel´s recent SLRMAIL 749
announcing the implementation of an ILRS exploder for all ILRS
prediction products, we announce here a number of minor changes to the
products currently generated by the NERC group.

Please contact us if you have any problems with any of our products.

Please note that we have taken this opportunity to change our
identifier from RGO to NERC.

IRVs

We will continue to provide the following predictions:

Daily IRVs for most satellites (derived from SLR observations)
Monthly IRVs for most satellites (derived from SLR observations)
Daily IRVs for GPS-35,36, Campaign GLONASS (derived from CODE orbits)
Subdaily IRVs for GPS-35,36,Campaign GLONASS (derived from CODE orbits)

Thus typical subject header for the email messages will be:

STARLETTE DAILY IRVS NERC
TOPEX MONTHLY IRVS NERC
GPS35 DAILY IRVS CODE/NERC
GLONASS-84 SUBDAILY IRVS CODE/NERC

We also propose to use slightly changed (and more self-consistent)
internal labelling of IRV sets in the first line of the IRV files.
Thus for the above files the first lines of the IRV files will be:

New: | Old:
NERCDY_STR072 1 | RGOTST_STR001 1
NERCMY_TOP139 1 | RGOIRV_TOP139 1
COD11051 GPS35 1 | COD11051 GPS35 1
COD11051 GLO84 4 | GLO11051 GLO84 4
|
where the NERC daily IRVs are numbered with the day-in-year; and the
CODE derived IRVs with the GPS week and day number.

TIME BIAS FUNCTIONS

We will continue to receive time bias functions (TBFs) from providers,
concatentate them with the ones we produce here, and distribute them at
1600 UT each day as previously. The subject header for these messages
will remain unchanged as:

Standard Time Bias Functions

and the format of the contents will be unchanged.
