Space Development Agency of Japan(NASDA) has scheduled the launch of H-IIA rocket first test launch vehicle (H-IIA$B!&(BF1) on August 25th, 2001. On August 19th, it was found the actuation defective of second stage liquid oxygen tank pressure adjusting valve and this valve was returned to the factory for the investigation. But, the valve transportation was delayed due to the effect of the typhoon No.11th, and we need more time for the investigation of this failure valve, etc. NASDA decided postponing the launch of the H-IIA Launch Vehicle Flight #1 after August 28th. If our work will do smoothly advance, we will set H-IIA F1 launch date on August 28th as an the earliest case. The fixed launch date will set as early as possible.
