Subject: LRE TIRV distribution schedule

Dear colleagues,

Thank you for your support for LRE tracking.

About the detail of LRE campaign, Dr. Pearlman informed you by
SLR Mailing Message No. 0803 ”Attention SLR Stations - LRE Campaign”.
We inform you about the TIRV distribution schedule from NASDA.

We will send TIRVs to the all ILRS stations via ILRS prediction
mail using standard ILRS headers and CDDIS server in parallel.
(To the part of stations, we will send TIRV directory via e-mail.)

---
The distribution timing of TIRVs during 4 days after the launch
is as follows;

Y- 2D First TIRV distribution (NOMNL)

L+ 2H Second TIRV distribution(ROCKT)

L+ 8H Start to try orbit determination
L+10H Third TIRV distribution (ODSLR)

(L+14H TIRV distribution (ODSLR))

L+16H Fourth TIRV distribution (ODOPT)

L+23H Fifth TIRV distribution (ODSLR)
(L+30H TIRV distribution (ODSLR))

L+46H Sixth TIRV distribution (ODSLR or ODOPT)
(L+54H TIRV distribution (ODSLR))

L+70H Seventh TIRV distribution (ODSLR)
(L+77H TIRV distribution (ODSLR))

L+99H Eighth TIRV distribution (ODSLR)

(Y:launch date / L:launch time)

The description of TIRV source is;
NOMNL:nominal injection orbit
ROCKT:rocket telemetory/lader data
ODSLR:orbit determination result using SLR data
ODOPT:orbit determination result using optical observation data

TIRV distribution at L+14,30,54,77H is depend on the gathering
condition of SLR data and tracking condition from SLR stations.

-about the QLNP Interface
LRE orbit is elliptical orbit. So, it may have long time visibility.
Therefore, if possible, plese assign the operation(passes) as below.
This is a proposal from NASDA.

In the operation of LRE satellite, we define the ”pass” as
20minutes tracking per hour.(e.g. 02:00-02:20/03:00-03:20.....)
If the visibility length is shorter than 30 minutes, you can
consider one visibility as one pass.
This definition will reduce the load on the station operation.

We would like to obtain QLNP without waiting the end of the
visibility.
During the launch phase, we would like to get QLNP as soon as
possible after the end of the one pass operation in hourly basis.

About the full rate data interface, we will obtain it by e-mail.
descrive by Dr. Pearlman, please send to lre_fr@guts.tksc.nasda.go.jp.
