Subject: appreciation for LRE tracking

Dear colleagues,

First of all, we would like to express our sincere thanks
to ILRS colleagues concerning to the LRE tracking.

In the night of Dec 18(JST), we heard good News from Grasse
LLR station. Grasse has succeeded in the laser ranging of LRE.
Using these QLNP(about 7 hours), NASDA succeeded in the LRE orbit
determination and already distributed new IRV (#43) to all stations.

We think that this success will be good chance for continuous
tracking at the other stations because the IRVs of LRE becomes
very precisely than the past IRVs which is generated by NASA TLE.
About for a week(the period of validity of NASDA IRVs),
new IRV will keep high accuracy.

You can see the detailed analysys result on the web,
http://god.tksc.nasda.go.jp/lr/comp30.html

We need more tracking support by many stations and we would
like to improve IRVs.

Your help will be much appreciated.

with best regards,
Maki MAEDA
