16th Working Meeting on European VLBI for Geodesy and Astrometry

First Announcement


The ”Bundesamt fuer Kartographie und Geodaesie” (BKG) , Germany,
has the honour to host the

16th Working Meeting on European VLBI
for Geodesy and Astrometry

in Leipzig, in the period 09-10 May 2003.

The purpose of this meeting is to exchange results of the
latest geodetic and astrometric VLBI research, information on
the VLBI stations and discussion of future projects.


There are sessions planned dedicated to the following topics:

- station activities
- technical developments
- local ties
- geodetic VLBI analysis
- astrometric VLBI analysis
- VLBI and other geodetic space techniques
