The report consists of (A) a pass summary, (B) an overview of the analysis results, detailed statistics of the analysed measurements, and an accumulative pass overview and (C) the earth rotation parameter solutions submitted to IERS. The report is based on all quick-look data as received until Mon, Aug 7, 2000. Questions and comments should be addressed to: K.F. PASS SUMMARY The table below gives an overview of the ranging data both on LAGEOS-1 and LAGEOS-2, received by the Quick-Look Data Analysis Center (QLDAC) on Tue, Aug 8, 2000. All data were obtained through NASA Crustal Dynamics Data Information system (CDDIS) and the Eurolas Data Center (EDC) in Germany. ANALYSIS RESULTS The analysis is based on two orbit solutions using global quick-look normal points that cover a period of 10 days which are computed simultaneously. This week´s data interval runs from Thu, Jul 27, 2000, to Sat, Aug 5, 2000. The measurement and dynamic models used in this analysis are close to the IERS Standard. The overall model is referred to as QLDACMOD9. The details of this model can be obtained on request. The terrestrial reference frame is provided by a special version of the SSC(DUT) 93L05 station coordinates solution. The header line for each station shows the station ID, its name, whether the position is solved for or not and the measurement accuracy in mm. Rejected observations are not used for the calculation of the rms-of-fit, the biases or the scatter. The latter holds w.r.t. the residual trend line described by the bias estimates. This is a QLDAC analysis report in a new style. Although our old report served quite well for observation campaigns, we have received many requests to adjust our report to the current situation (i.e. a permanent global SLR network with few mobile systems), and to spend more attention to the quality of the data taken by the global network. The most important element of the report is the table with statistics for each individual data pass. Although the numbers will speak for themselves, we must give a warning here that some of you may be disappointed to see that their station appears to be suffering from a data problem. However, we are using a model for station positions that is already 5 years old, and which may be responsible for errors in the station position in the order of 1-5 cm. We intend to introduce a new coordinates solution in the course of this millennium.
